About Us: Rooted in Tradition
Founded in 2007 as a small family-run venture in the coastal village of Porto Palermo, Selected Herbs has grown steadily while staying true to our roots. What began with humble harvests of sage and other native plants has expanded across the southern Albanian region – today we cultivate over 200 hectares of medicinal and aromatic herbs.
We also partner with local foragers to gather wild herbs from the pristine mountainsides, with every leaf and flower hand-picked and naturally dried to preserve its healing properties and authentic character. Albania’s untouched nature provides an ideal environment for herbs – many aromatic species thrive here, and some are found nowhere else on earth. By blending traditional know-how with sustainable farming practices, we ensure that each batch of our products meets high standards of purity and potency.
